While the Sun Shines: Schedule Reminders for Quarterly Reports

As stated in the adage, “Make hay while the sun shines” – stay on top of your quarterly reports and stay compliant! Set up recurring reminders to complete these reviews to stay in compliance with the Handbook, plus check out the some tips below to complete your reports in a flash in CaseLink!

The Chapter 7 Handbook requires trustees to perform case reviews on at least a quarterly basis and be able to show regular performance to ensure timely case administration and closure. To stay on top of this task, we recommend you set a recurring reminder – whether in your calendar, Outlook, or Tasks in CaseLink, so you can always remember to complete these time-sensitive reviews!

In CaseLink², you can access the Quarterly Report via the Sidekick, the panel on the left side of the screen. You can find this report under the Reports tab in the “Global” section.

In the Report screen, select a particular case data set and reporting period for the review. You can include specific information, customize the report name, include a signature line and set up the report using a specific column format. Then, click “Print.”


The Quarterly Report will display as shown below.

After generating the report, we recommend that you:

  • Review the report
  • Note cases that require updated information.
  • Sign and date report with updated notation.
  • Store document for future audit reference
  • Enter the updated notes in CaseLink² as shown below:Select the the “Case Info” Icon on the left Case Menu.

  • Select the Memos tab on the left side of the Case Information screen and enter the review date and updated information as noted below.

And that’s it!

CaseLink Office

CaseLink Office allows you to generate quarterly reports with ease to stay compliant.

To generate this report:

  1. Navigate to ‘Reports’ from the quick links bar along the top of the screen.
  2. Click on the ‘UST Forms’ tab.
  3. Select ‘Quarterly Report’ from the list of report types, which will open the Quarterly Report screen.
  4. From the Quarterly Reports screen, enter the Quarterly Date Range. Then, check the box next to the Signature line, and specify a unique Report Title.
  5. After you have entered this information, you can select “Preview” or “Print” from the buttons on the side of the screen.


After you have printed the report, we suggest that you review the report and enter case update notations for the case. You can do this using PDF annotation tools, as shown below.


Then, sign the report and save it to QuikDocs.


Finally, enter the case notations in the specific case on the Next Activity box in the Memos tab so that your notes are saved.
