Using the New Asset Verification Tool in CaseLink Web

The rollout of our latest update to CaseLink Web brings an exciting new tool to help you deal with assets efficiently. The ‘Asset Verification Tool’ in CaseLink Web brings a new level of ease in reviewing assets in cases that have not been locked down or marked as verified.

The Asset Verification Tool can be found in the pulldown menu under Tools in the top menu bar.

You’ll be presented with a list of cases that you can review in list form, or, you can use the convenient accordion menu on the left to see more detail on individual cases.

Intuitive user interface incorporates all relevant asset information to allow you to complete your task
without needing to go to multiple screens.

When an individual case is opened through the accordion menu, you have several options for working on the asset in that view. You can delete, split and combine assets, then move easily back to list view to mark the case as verified or move on to a new case.

If you want to work on cases in batches, the list view can be filtered by using the pulldown menu on the top right hand side. You’ll be presented with options including “Mark selected cases as verified,” “Print all cases with unverified assets” and “Print selected cases with unverified assets.” Choosing the options to print will generate a report in .PDF format. This can be especially helpful when you’re looking to split up and delegate work.

Choose a batch action from the dropdown menu.

Another useful tool feature is the Asset Verification slider (which looks similar to the 341(a) meeting slider) that displays on all subsequent screens once you leave the Asset Verification Tool.

The Asset Verification slider can be found on the right hand side of the screen.

If you open an individual case from the list screen and open the Assets menu icon, the Asset Verification Tool tab will appear on the right hand side of the screen. Clicking the tab will slide open the Asset Verification Tool list screen, so you can move back and forth easily between in-depth individual case work and the batch-like list overview.

With the slider window open, you can easily manipulate and clean up assets on a single screen.

Finally, a new interface indicator in the lower dashboard makes it easy to see if the Form 1 you are working with is in draft or final mode.

Form1-Draft  Form1-Final
