Recipe for Success: BMS Trustee Resources

Thanksgiving dinner would not be complete without your favorite side dishes at the table, such as the mashed potatoes and gravy, or the cranberry sauce! Like those necessary components, BMS software would not be complete without the additional resources provided to trustee offices – BMSAdvantage.com, BMS University and MyResources.

BMS values our clients and their success, so we offer many resources to complement our software and allow you to be more productive in your practice.

Check out an overview of all of the resources available to you as a BMS client, below!


The centerpiece of all of the resources provided to you by BMS is BMSAdvantage.com. As our company website, this is the main source for all BMS-related information, news and case administration resources—all accessible without the need of username or password.

On BMSAdvantage.com, you can access the repository of articles published in our monthly newsletters as well as get information about our products, services and upcoming events. You can also access links to MyResources and BMS University—two password-protected sites only accessible by BMS clients which we cover below.

BMS University

Similar to your treasured recipes passed down from generation to generation, BMS University is our self-paced online video training platform which provides distinct education tracks covering how to use various functions within our CaseLink software as well as basics regarding the administration of bankruptcy cases.

To access BMS University, you need log in credentials which are provided to you via email after you request enrollment. If you have not yet signed up for BMS University, visit the BMS University enrollment page and submit your information. You’ll receive your enrollment credentials within 2 business days (typically sooner).


Like the Thanksgiving feast, MyResources offers a wide spread of resources that satisfy even the broadest of practices. MyResources serves as the location where our clients can generate interim bank statements, request supplies, access backups of their case data, and download template files. Plus, you can learn more about our Software Support and Account Manager team members who help support your practice.

To access MyResources, you need log in credentials which may be obtained on the MyResources log in page. To request a new user ID, navigate to the MyResources site and click on “Request New User ID.” Fill in the form and click “Send Request.”  A user ID and password will be sent to the email address that you provided. Alternatively, you may also contact the BMS Banking Center to request new log in credentials for MyResources.
