Prepare Your Deposits for Lightning Speed Processing

Rabobank, N.A.You’ve received checks, your deposit slips are filled out, and you’re ready to send them to Rabobank. No matter where you are across the country, you can be sure your deposits will be processed as soon as they are received and updated in your BMS software by the next business day when you follow a few simple steps each and every time:

  • Forego the staples. Staples slow check processing down, and we know you want your deposits updated at lightning speed. Just keep the deposit slip on top with the corresponding checks and you’re good to go!
  • Ensure the MICR line is printed on the bottom of the deposit slip. This helps Rabobank’s equipment process your deposits in an automated fashion and makes sure that the deposits get reflected in your BMS software with the correct ledger code. Otherwise, manual intervention is needed, which may also require you to add an adjusting entry in your ledger.
  • Got multiple deposits? Pair them up! For multiple deposits, simply place each deposit slip with the check(s) to be deposited so that Rabobank can fly through each entry and save you valuable time. Remember: deposit slips always go on top of the corresponding checks.
  • CaseLink Office and TrustWorks users: make sure your system is communicating with the bank. Processing may take more time if your software is not communicating correctly with Rabobank. With this quick check, ensure that your deposits get processed in a timely fashion.
