Posting Wire Transfers to Ledger in TrustWorks

Any incoming wires processed through Rabobank will appear on the “Banking Communication” screen the morning after they are received in TrustWorks. The ‘Bank Activity’ screen is shown below.


For Wires Received through TrustWorks:

To post the wire transaction to your case ledger, highlight the wire, click on “Post to Ledger” and then complete the name and select the category code that applies to the wire.

For Wires Received Manually:
If you need to manually post the wire to your ledger in order to write checks the same day the wire is received or sent, perform the following:

  1. Select the case from which you will be receiving/sending the wire transfer using the case name or number
  2. Click on the “Banking” tab, which generates the banking ledger screen, and select the account that the wire transfer will credit/debit
  3. At the bottom of the ledger, click “Add Other Entries”
  4. Click on “Initiate Wire Transfer”
  5. Click on “Increase” for an incoming wire (to increase the ledger balance of the account)
  6. Fill in the necessary fields including the category code and ‘processed by bank date’
  7. Save the transaction
