Like that extra ingredient or dash of spice, sometimes small enhancements can truly make the entire dish. Earlier this month, BMS rolled out several enhancements for CaseLink² and CaseLink Web that serve to refine your user experience.
Take a look at some of these delectable enhancements below:
Chapter 7 Handbook-related Updates:
In both platforms, updates have been made in accordance with recent Chapter 7 Handbook updates:
- Wage claims: Employee and Employer payroll taxes for pre-petition wage claims in excess of $12,475 will be created with UTC 7100-00 and Priority 610
- Uniform Forms: Ability to add Judge/Hearing Information in the header (top right) by checking the appropriate checkbox when you generate these forms
- Updated Handbook: Latest version of the Chapter 7 Handbook may be found in the Global Menu > Resources > UST Handbook
For your convenience, the Sidekick has been enhanced to stay in the collapsed or expanded state until you change it, allowing you to always utilize the mode you want without extra clicks.
Plus, on the Cases tab, when you choose the 341(a) submenu, the calendar will display the next upcoming meeting by default instead of the current date, allowing you to plan ahead and stay on top of your schedule.
Finally, on the Documents Tab, the documents list can now be sorted by document number.
All Memo and Journal entries will now be autosaved in the 341(a) View screen and on tabs of the Case Information screen, so any notes you are entering will always be saved in the software.
In CaseLink Web, customized check descriptions now include 2 additional fields – ‘Case Estate TIN’ and ‘Claim Account No,’ so you can better keep track of that information with each individual check.
Plus, all Memo and Journal entries will now be autosaved in the 341(a) View screen, so any notes you are entering will always be saved in the software.
