New (Earlier) Deadline for 1099 Forms
The IRS 1099 filing deadline for reporting payments to professionals has been moved up to January 31, 2017. In addition, the 2016 forms have been slightly modified in formatting over the previous year’s versions. Stay abreast of these changes by getting an early start on your 1099 form preparation this month.
