Upgrade CaseLink Office This Month to Access Live Chat Support

New LEP Interpreter Usage Tracking and Report also available

With the next upgrade to CaseLink Office later this month, chat-based support is being offered as an additional method to help you get answers to your questions…allowing you to continue doing the work that you need to do. Chat support will become available to CaseLink Web users in April.

Live chat support will be available during the same hours as the BMS Support Center – 8:00 am EST to 8:00 pm EST (5:00 am PST to 5:00 pm PST). If you prefer to contact us by phone or email, those options will continue to be offered as well.

Accessing Chat Support

Getting help from a BMS Customer Service Representative via chat is quick and easy. Just click on the new “Chat Support” option in the global quick link bar at the top of the screen.

The chat support window will open in your default web browser. If you don’t see the window, please make sure to disable the pop-up blocker so that the chat window can be displayed.

Once one of our Customer Service Representatives gets notified that you want to chat, the window will update and allow you to enter your message.

LEP Interpreter Usage Tracking Available

Our newest version of CaseLink Office will also include the ability to track the usage of interpreters during 341(a) meetings as required by the UST. By checking the “Interpreter” checkbox on the 341(a) tab of the Case Information screen, you can now include details of whenever an interpreter was used during a 341(a) meeting.

Furthermore, a report that summarizes the usage of LEP interpretation services can now be generated per 341(a) meeting date and exported out in Excel format so that such information can be provided to your UST or auditors as needed.

Action Required

In order to access the chat-based support beta feature, please follow the instructions within CaseLink Office to download and install the latest upgrade later this month when prompted.

Note: Sync any LITE systems before performing the upgrade. Please make sure to upgrade all systems that run CaseLink Office including any laptops.

We encourage you to upgrade as soon as prompted so that you can get your support issues answered in a more efficient manner and stay in compliance with UST requirements to provide details of when interpreter services are being used.
