Shining CaseLink Features to Make Your Tasks Brighter

Happy holidays, readers! This is the time of year when we count our blessings and open our eyes to the wonders that surround us.  A little glitter here, a small bow there—these adornments may be small, but they can be powerful in helping your home shine during the holidays. Similarly, that is how I see some of the features in our CaseLink software! Some of the most overlooked features can be extremely powerful in helping you shine and making your work fly by. This month, I’m answering questions about features you can use to make your tasks brighter!

DEAR ANGIE: I have to enter dates for several cases and am dreading the task. Is there a feature I can use to help make it easier?

DEAR SANTA’S HELPER: Let CaseLink be your workshop and its features your busy elves. Whether you use CaseLink² or CaseLink Office, there are some wonderful features to streamline entering and editing dates in the software.

In CaseLink², there are multiple ways to easily add or edit case dates. From the “Custom Dates” tab on the user Profile screen, you can choose which dates you want to auto-populate in the system when your cases are imported, and also manually add Global and Ad-Hoc dates. In addition, the “Dates” tab on the Case Info screen allows you to easily add all of the dates related to a case within one screen. 

In CaseLink Office, you can use the Case Power Edit feature to batch edit and add case dates within one screen. You can access this feature by selecting ‘Case Administration’ from the top Main Menu toolbar, and clicking ‘Case Power Editing.’

The Chat feature in CaseLink is perfect for this—simply click on the “Chat” icon located at the top right corner of your screen, and you will be instantly connected with a Support member who can answer any question you might have.
