Check Out HelpLink’s Sunny New Look

Slip your shades off and check out HelpLink’s bright new look! CaseLink’s online Help file has been redesigned and reorganized so it’s easier to find what you’re searching for. Articles are now easier to read, with larger type and larger images.

Plus, BMS University training videos have now been moved into HelpLink so that you can access them with a just few clicks. From now on, all BMS University Training videos will be made available on HelpLink, making it a one-stop experience for all your training needs.

Read on to dig into the details of the new HelpLink!

 

HelpLink for CaseLink Web

To open HelpLink from CaseLink Web, click on the “Question Mark” icon in the global menu bar at the top of the screen. You’ll find it just to the left of the “Search” box.

HelpLink will open to the new CaseLink Web start page. Just like in the old HelpLink, articles are organized into broad categories, like “Assets” and “Tools.” Each category has its own tile that shows a preview of some of the articles you will find in that section.

Clicking on a category title will take you to a list of all articles relating to that subject. Or, you can click on one of the previewed article titles to go directly to that article.

At the bottom of the HelpLink start page there’s a new category named “BMS University Training Videos.” Here you’ll find all the recorded trainings from BMS University. You can view them right within HelpLink—no need to remember an additional password or sign into BMS University. Each video has controls that allow you to view it full screen, if desired.

Although it’s simple to find what you’re looking for by clicking on categories and drilling down to appropriate articles by topic, you can also use the search bar at the top of each page.

Enter keywords into the search in the bar at the top of each page to find your help topic faster.

 

Additionally, you can click on the “Folder” icon just beneath the search bar to open a dropdown tree menu. Use the drop-down menu to quickly navigate between categories or return to the start page. There’s also breadcrumb navigation to the right of the “Folder” icon if you prefer to retrace your steps that way.

Help articles have been reformatted with larger type and larger images, making them easier to read. Our new design also adjusts the page layout as you adjust the size of your browser window, allowing you to keep HelpLink open side-by-side with CaseLink Web as you read through a specific help topic.

To open HelpLink from CaseLink Office, click on “Help > CASELINK Help” from the global menu bar at the top of the screen. You can also open HelpLink by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard.
